Super friendly staff and great service! The hot brown hot dog was amazing & we also really enjoyed the dessert dog! We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!
We stopped by for lunch on our way to Lexington and loved the scene route off the interstate to get here! Inside is a nice bar area and coordinating tables. There are TVs inside as well that make this a fun hangout space. The kitchen is more of an open area where you can watch them cook even. Unfortunately, they were out of SO MUCH. It was disappointing. We ordered the Boone Fries which were the highlight of the meal! Big enough for 4 people in my opinion. Absolutely delicious! We got the Pimento Dog and the Mac & Cheese Dog. Both were very good, but I was a little put off with how messy they were. The Mac one was almost impossible to eat like a normal dog. Definitely a great flavor though, and we can’t wait to come back.
Wow. I usually turn my nose up at hot dog joints but Boonedogs has changed my mind on that. I had the macaroni & cheese dog and every part was fantastic. The beef hot dog was on point and every bit as juicy and tasty as any beef dog I've had in Chicago. The Boone Fries were really great and a massive portion that was enough for 3 of us. My daughter had the Bratwurst and raved about the sauerkraut Our waitress was helpful and friendly and made sure we were fully satisfied, which we absolutely were. For dessert I had the liquid Bourbon Ball and that was absolute perfection. The Dessert Dog, pictured below, was excellent as well. I was too busy devouring the entrees to get pictures but trust me when I say this place is worth the stop. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area and able. I was so happy with my meal.
We were on a roadtrip and came across this gem. The food was delicious and the service was great! We were greeted by the manager who was friendly and talked to us about the area. Our waitress was friendly,upbeat and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.
Amazing all around, especially the morning bartender Alta! The food is absolutely delicious, is at a great price for what you get and will definitely fill you up. The atmosphere and people here are stellar and the manager Casey can take care of anything you need. I would recommend coming here over any other place in Lexington or Richmond and can tell you first hand it’s well worth the drive from either! 10/10 favorite place to go for food or drinks or both!
Little place out in the country. Great atmosphere. Great place to bring the kids. The spicy chicken sandwich is exactly what I wanted. The double cheeseburger was not too greasy and was cooked well. And you can’t go wrong with chicken tenders for the kids. Bathrooms were clean and smelled nice.
Yum! We were driving past and noticed this cool little place. Looks like a cute place to do a little day drinking on the country side. Family and dog friendly as well. I had the spicy chicken sandwich. Very large and filling. Came out hot and fresh. The drinks looked good but we weren’t drinking today.
We had such a fun day at Boonedogs. My grandbaby played outside on the chess set and ate corn dogs. He loved them. I ordered the footlong..o my goodness... We ordered the combo appetizer platter for starters. It had everything on it and we ate it all. Perfect day with beautiful weather. Going back soon...
